DECK CARE & RESEALING
GOOD NEWS – By using our process, after the first sealing the resealing cost is typically 20% less than the original
sealing cost as long as sealing is done by recommended times. We recommend resealing of residential wood every 2
years and commercial applications such as decks every year. We offer free evaluations so you don’t miss out on the
resealing savings.
Commercial applications such as restaurant decks, pool decks or flat surfaces with high traffic will wear faster than
residential decks due to increased foot traffic.
Our sealers are not oil based, therefore your treated area will not turn black or gray like oil based sealers. Sealer can
be worn off over time due to traffic and use. This is normal. The average deck with average traffic such as a residence
typically lasts 2 years when sealed with our services. Deck wearing factors include; amount of foot traffic, amount of
or lack sun light, water, outside temperature, drought and excessive rain.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Proposals are good for 90 days from proposal date. Work requested after the proposal expiration will need to be
re bid.
2. Due to the varying types and conditions of wood and sometimes different wood types or replacement deck, fence,
dock pieces Texas Wood Restoration, LLC does not color match to previous deck colors or guarantee color matching
for sealing wood surface. Customer is responsible for selecting the appropriate color for sealing.
3. Customer is responsible for removing all items from decks prior to our arrival to begin the sealing process.
Texas Wood Restoration, LLC does not remove or place back furniture, planters or any other items on decks.
4. Payment for services is due upon completion of the job payable by cash or check.
5. A $35.00 returned check fee plus any additional costs related to collections shall be assessed for returned or
unpaid checks.
6. Work will be scheduled upon customer signature on this proposal, our schedule and weather conditions or acts
of God.
7. WARRANTY - All work is guaranteed for 90 days from the day of completion to be free from defects and poor
workmanship. Texas Wood Restoration, LLC does not warrant wear or fading of wood surfaces. Wood surfaces will
naturally wear and fade due to being outside and the nature of wood. Typically sealed wood with our product will need
to be resealed every 18 months to 2 years and commercial applications every year. We do not cover acts of God,
chemical spills, fire, excessive wear due to traffic or BBQ pit area on your deck.
8. Proposal price includes Texas Wood Restoration utilizing customers water taps with male garden hose threads
and power for sprayers.
9. All work is to be completed on customer’s site.
